EXPRESSSTROKES

My ExpressStrokes (Using Exaggerated Colour: Expressionist Landscape) on my painting journey introduced me to the contrary notion that there are abundant possibilities available to the artist who is willing to experiment with colours found in nature.

Over-saturating or otherwise exaggerating the colours one sees will immediately make a painting appear more interpretive and thus more expressive.

Abiding mostly to the instructions in the 50 Small Paintings (beginner) book, while bursting into song in-between, I was able to fill the page with my own interpretation of the Expressionist Landscape.
