HEARTSTROKES
My Heart Strokes on my painting journey reveal the step-by-step process during the painting of my fourth artwork, a rowboat. This was the fourth and final part of the series.
This long process was partly a brainstorming session where I indulged my audience by asking the question, what is your heart? Obviously, we know our physical heart is the central organ that pumps blood to the rest of our body and our heartbeat equals life; but remember, OSA’s Lounge is all about self-discovery, questioning and spirituality. So with all that being said, I ask the question again, what is your heart?
Furthermore, I explored where I would love to row my boat to – “My destination”. Being Proudly African and an aspiring globetrotter who has been to Northern and Southern Europe (England, France, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Belgium & The Netherlands), North America (USA, Canada, Cuba & Mexico), the Middle East and North Africa (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain & Egypt) as well as Southern Africa (South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi & Madagascar), West Africa (Nigeria & Ghana) and East Africa (Tanzania & Rwanda); I concluded that I would love to explore more of East Africa and my destination with this rowboat will be the Seychelles 😉
